Faculty Advisor/Site Coordinator

The Union Institute & University, a national university offering Bachelor’s and Ph.D. degrees to adult learners, is seeking an experienced person to administer the learners at our Compton Site located on the Compton Center of El Camino CC in Los Angeles. This position reports directly to the Dean of the Los Angeles Center.  Primary responsibilities include teaching a minimum of three classes per year, recruit learners and work with adjunct faculty and learners.

The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in Child Development or related degree with experience in Child Development or Early Childhood Education. Experience in marketing Child Development programs helpful. Other qualifications include excellent organizational and writing skills, professional demeanor and appearance, the ability to interact successfully with all levels within and external to the Union Institute & University, attention to detail and an ability to handle multiple responsibilities also required.
